Summary

Professional Trainers will be responsible for training new and existing customers on all Propertyware products and services. Occasional travel is required, including evening and weekend travel to training locations across the United States. Typical work week varies from 40 – 55 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Prepare and deliver standard online training and custom classroom training classes at Propertyware’s offices, third party training facilities and customer locations throughout the United States, as assigned.
  • Prepare and maintain current product information, training data and training materials, as required, to successfully conduct assigned training classes.
  • Prepare training labs for assigned standard and custom classroom training to include system settings, as well as proper configuration of Propertyware accounts and training data.
  • Maintain a shared training calendar
  • Stay abreast of changes or enhancements made to Propertyware and RealPage products and services and provide the necessary recorded self-paced training and web seminars to educate customers and employees
  • Report product defects and requested enhancements to Engineering
  • Maintain professional interaction with clients while delivering high-quality training services.
  • Schedule appropriate travel for all training assignments according the RealPage Training Department Travel Policy.
  • Prepare and submit required training reports and assigned class information, to include sign-in sheets, evaluations, pre-trains, post-trains, etc. according to established training department policies.
  • Create a library of self-paced training videos for Propertyware and RealPage products and services
  • Conduct weekly web seminars on a variety of topics

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • College degree is preferred but not required
  • Property management experience is preferred (property management corporate office experience is preferred)
  • Training experience (Technical training experience is preferred)
  • Familiarity with property management software applications (Propertyware product experience is preferred)
  • Knowledge of Internet and web-based technology is preferred
  • Accounting and systems experience is also preferred
  • Experience with web seminar tools (i.e. GotoWebinar, WebEx)
  • Familiarity with Camtasia Studio or other similar video authoring solutions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications, including Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time during training sessions
