We seek an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to develop and implement all aspects of customer communications and events. Candidates must have hands-on expertise in developing and managing information rich web sites, managing events and excellent business writing skills. The Marketing Communications Manager must be able to gain a deep understanding of the Propertyware solution and positioning so they can effectively communicate to both existing customers and prospects.
This individual reports to the VP of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Document Propertyware customer segmentation strategy and measure the ongoing penetration and ROI for various marketing initiatives
- Maintain the Propertyware corporate “voice” and messaging throughout all communications
- Write and edit product copy: data-sheets, flyers, Web pages, demo scripts, Web banners, Web promos, and white paper,etc.
- Write and manage the process for getting customer testimonials: case studies, quotes, success stories, videos
- Create content and manage the public web site, including our blog and social networking sites
- Develop the end-to-end strategy and plans for the orchestration and management of webinars (planning, execution, promotions, and collaboration with stakeholders)
- Owning all aspects of the email marketing channel. Develop and manage the email communication strategy to increase customer acquisition, customer retention, up-sell/cross-sell opportunities via newsletters and email campaigns
- Monitor all list requests and manage the email marketing calendar to ensure appropriate audience targeting and compliance with mail frequency policy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or software background a plus
- 5-7+ years as a writer or in a communications position with a heavy writing component
- Experience across a broad spectrum of writing and editing requirements: everything from writing from scratch, to rewriting a rough draft, to light copy editing
- Experience with databases, segmentation, multi-variate testing and/or other marketing testing, and marketing data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style for different media, audiences, and messages
- Reputation as being effective in your communication (written, verbal and presentation) between both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and response from email
- Proficiency with email service provider & software for deployment and analytics
- Must willingly accept and creatively incorporate feedback and edits from multiple contributors
- Occasional domestic travel required
- Knowledge of real estate industry trends a plus
- Be a highly professional lead and team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
Technical Skills Required
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com
- Experience with webinar tools preferred (e.g. Citrix, WebEx, Adobe, etc.). Familiar with audio/editing of “live” and “on-demand” webinars – e.g. Macromedia Breeze, Camtasia, others
- Proficient at structuring and writing presentations, case histories, white papers, collateral, ROI calculators and similar tools
- Strong project management skills, efficient time management and ability to productively manage vendor relationships
