Job Overview
The focus of the Business Development Executive, and the ultimate measure, will be entirely based on generating revenue for Propertyware. Revenue is generated through the sales of Propertyware’s services, which will be recognized as Annual Contract Value.
Business Development Dept. Overview
The business development department is going to be in charge of establishing and managing companies that will engage with Propertyware through the following relationships:
· Marketing Agreements – This type of a relationship is intended to drive new leads to our sales organization. Propertyware will provide content and the partner company will use that content to generate revenue for themselves and then pass the leads along to Propertyware.
· System Integrators – In this relationship the partner will provide services that they can sell into a customer once the customer has purchased Propertyware. Typically a system integrator will sell implementation services in conjunction with Propertyware’s service.
· Product Partners – This type of a partner will have a product that will integrate and enhance Propertyware’s existing product offering. Ex: tenant screening.
· Resellers – These companies will typically bundle our service with their existing product offerings. Ex: An insurance company will purchase seats of Propertyware which they will then distribute to their property management customers.
· Franchises – These companies will typically receive a white label version of Propertyware which they will then include as a service in their franchise agreement with their customers.
Responsibilities for the Business Development Executive:
The plan for this position is to focus on developing partnerships described above. Once the relationship has been established it will then be the executive’s responsibility to manage the execution and operation of the relationship to ensure that the relationship results in a financial benefit to both Propertyware and the partner company.
